Light

Cook Inlet in DecemberSnowshoeing in December dusk, on Flattop Mt, brought us to this quiet spot overlooking Anchorage, Alaska. My eyes saw the sparkling city lights, my heart saw more. By the time we got off the hillside, darkness enveloped us. Many things about life and God, we can't understand. I believe that is why God sent His Son, Jesus, to tell the world the truth about Himself. Our desire to live independently from God separates us from Him. Through the cross, He made a way to reconcile us to Himself. When we accept His undeserved favor, we come to understand the truth and by the power of the Holy Spirit within us, live by that truth. "The people living in darkness have seen a great light, on those living in the shadow of death a light has dawned. I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in Me should stay in darkness (Matt 4:16; Jan 12:46).

Amazing blog! Do you have any tips and hints for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m completely overwhelmed .. Any tips? Thanks a lot!

Hi Britany, I started with the free WordPress service several years ago and was very happy with it. A couple of years ago, I was told as a writer by Jerry Jenkens that I needed a website, not just a blog. It was a lot harder to figure out and I still don’t have all my buttons working (very frustrating). I’m glad you liked it. It was good for me to get used to the free platform before I began paying for something more complicated. Let me know how it goes. Blessings!

Excellent read, I just passed this onto a friend who was doing a little research on that. And he just bought me lunch as I found it for him smile Thus let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch!
